Well don’t we all free is not always better you know. Like that old saying goes you get what you paid for. Otherwise I think avg offers some sort of free crap anti virus good luck.

I’ve been using AVG Free for years, and it seems to be doing the job and works just as good as the ones you pay for, including McAfee and Norton. My parents, my sister, and many of the computers at work also use AVG. Give it a try, free is a good thing!

I agree, try AVG. It’s strictly antivirus though, unlike other suites that include other software like firewall such as Norton Internet Security or Windows Live OneCare (my personal favorite).

Go to Download.com and at the side click securitysoftware, then click antivirus software scroll down and you will see a lot of antivirus software, the one i recommend and the one i have is Avira Antivir Personal Free Antivirus it has updates more than one time a day so that you will be protected against the news threats
DONT USE AVG i use to have it and when i change to avira antivir personal free antivirus it detected viruses that AVG did not detect.
Remember this website, you can download a lot of free legal software.
