Is it recommended to download 2 anti-virus software together? For example AVG and Avira Anti-Vir?

    No because two active AV programs could interfere with each-other and cause problems to your computer.

    Absolutely not. If you are concerned that your anti-virus program may not catch everything (a valid concern if using AVG… IMHO), you may want to install a second program that does not have an on-access scanner (or at least set it up so that the scanner never loads) and you can do manual scans with your “backup” program… but be sure to disable the primary one first.

    No, it’s not recommended. If only one is running in real-time mode and the other isn’t, you might be OK but AntiVir is better at finding and removing crap than AVG, so just use that.
