internet security has the whole package of anti virus and firewall and anti spam, plus u can’t install the anti virus without uninstalling the internet security which is actually a downgrade that I think u don’t want.
but if you’re talking about the anti-virus inside the internet security u should keep that up and running and up-to-date

I would install “Malwarebytes” and “Superantispyware” as backups in case somthing gets past kapersky! they are free and they won’t mess with karpersky or slow your computer!
