How does facebook decide who to put on your reach out section?

For most people its people I click on their page a lot but don’t talk to, but then theres one or two really random people. Does it depend on if they look at your page or anything like that? None of my really good friends that I talk to on Facebook a lot show up though. How does it work, or who is showing up on yours?

I think it has to do with your school information, your age, location, and the groups you may have joined. There could also be other factors.

a lot of the time, it’s addresses facebook stole from the contacts list on my computer. it’s also friends of friends (if you click them the first few names listed as friends on their profile will show common friends). facebook also scans profiles for links you post and interests and anything else you include to target you with friends and advertisements, etc.

so curious about this.. i get the same 2 or 3 people every time. i’d say i check out the same profiles pretty regularly, but don’t really talk to anyone through fb… i would love it if its because they check me out..
since it has been popping up, i stopped going to their page, and others more often, still no switch.
these people have nothing in common as far as location, schools, groups, etc.
