Why is Windows suddenly telling me it can’t find an Anti Virus program when it was fine before?
I have Avast and i can see it in the Task bar running just fine…
I notice in the security center that it has an option to find a provider and Avast isn’t listed.

The anti virus might not have been registered in the security center… you can try repairing avast to correct this. if avast is running fine, there’s nothing to worry…u can turn off the alert..

Are you using a pirated one?
If so don’t update the program, just update the virus database.
Updating program from 4.7 professional to 4.8 professional caused problems to my friends.

That’s just windows being odd. Forget it if your ant virus is working ok. Avg Free has the same fault with win security.
