What is the best free anti-virus for Windows 7?
hi there
i have a brand-new HP Windows 7 laptop and i wanted to ask what is the best FREE anti-virus software for my OS at the moment?
*one that doesn’t use much memory or resources and is (could say) user-friendly as well.

AVG, you can download it from download.com, its free but when it finds viruses it puts it into a vault and wont harm anythign but if u pay for it it’ll remove them

Free edition of AVG works really well for 7 , because it doesnot slow down your pc, it runs very smoothly without any problem.

“one that doesn’t use much memory or resources” means Avast. It uses about the least resources of any AV program.
