Should I download an anti-virus program for my Mac?

I have been using Limewire (I know what files to stay away from) and I want to be sure I am not harming my computer. Is there anything I should download to keep it protected?

Gosh no Windows users telling you the wrong thing!
There are no MacOs X viruses released, the last one was in 2006. Any viruses you will be sent are Windows viruses which will not affect your Mac. The handful of Mac trojans out there need to be installed and activated with your admin password. So as long as you don’t install any files (fake ones or illegal ones), you are fine.

I don’t think you need anti-virus software. Macs don’t get viruses often. If you still think that better safe than sorry, Protemac Netmine would be enough.
