Limewire is notorious for viral infestation, I know from personal experience and from the experiences of friends.
It’s a hackers paradise and as far as I’m aware you have to disable Norton to be able to download from Limewire.
Best avoid it.

You need to open up ports for the app., but as said it’s a MAJOR risk so you’re best to uninstall Limewire

Norton is crap!!! Limewire is awsome!!!
