Just download the new one first, then get offline.Right click on the old one and shut it down,go to add or remove programs and remove it.Then install the new one, get back online and update it.Then run a full scan.

You can have 127 anti virus programs running at once. it doesn’t matter.

and yeah, you can uninstall the old one, but i wouldn’t unless it’s McAfee.

Was the virus sent via MSN?

‘Clean MSN Virus is a tool that detects and deletes currently circulating MSN Messenger viruses.’

    Or by email?

Restart your PC in safe mode with networking

Download, install and run a full scan with Malwarebytes

Run a full scan with Micro Trend House Call

After the scans, restart the PC and download SuperAntiSpyware and run a full scan
