how do i stop fake anti virus site popups?
I use norton but an anti virus site pops up every 60 secs and demands i run a scan and buy their product.It says my computer is infected but norton says its not. I cant get rid of it.

well actually i had the exact same prob and i just got it fixed all by myself 🙂 so i had this computer guy come in and help me but still… i dont think u’ll have to hire one because the computer guy just told me to look it up on wikipedia and that he know that almost all of the computer stuff on there is really helpful so just go to this link i hope it helps! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spyware

Ditch Norton NOW! Uninstall it. Get the following three free downloads.
a) Spybot)
b) AVG
c) Zonealarm.
You`ve got a virus that Norton does not recognise, (along with everything else)! Get rid of it, install the above. Go into safe mode. Run Spybot as the administrator, clear the infections. Then repeat with AVG. This will give you a far more advanced defence barrier than you had before, Do it now!
